We got home yesterday evening with our sweet boy. He is doing well and resting a TON! His hemoglobin level is still low, but the internal bleed should be completely closed up. It will be a while before he is back to full strength, but he will make a full recovery. In the coming weeks we are going to have home health care come out and train us on how to infuse Ben ourselves, which should make things easier, until we get a permanent port placed in Ben.
The doctors and nurses at the Children's Hospital in Little Rock were amazing. There were far more blessings that came of this situation that you could possibly imagine. It was a pricey reminder that we have a very delicate son on our hands, and we can't take his condition for granted.
We just want to thank everyone for all the prayers and support. We have been blessed with such wonderful friends. Please continue to pray that our precious Ben makes a full recovery. He is happy to be home, but still a bit weak and tired.
