We hope you all had as nice of a weekend as we did! It started with some of our friends suggesting a bonfire on Friday evening, which turned out to be a GREAT idea. We sat around a fire in the backyard and roasted s'mores with a group of friends...a great kick-off for the Fall season. Grace absolutely loved the s'mores, and of course she loved the firey marshmallows.
Saturday we were in a store shopping when Grace decided to sneak off while we were in the check out line (not the first time this has happened), well after 5 minutes of both of us frantically looking for her, we found her a few isle's over trying to buy bubbles. A lady then realized she was lost, right about the time I walked up and found her, Grace had a crowd around her just talking away! It was scary, yet humerous, and embarassing as it will be, we will be using a child harness in the future until she can learn to stay with mom and dad!
Still no baby yet, hopefully our next post will be the great news....

Do you remember when we lived at Camp Stoney and had gone to ABQ the Friday after Thanksgiving to shop when Jake disappeared at Winrock Mall? It's the worst feeling!! When we finally found him, he was trying to return to our car in the parking lot and a security guard had him by the collar of his jacket while Jake was kicking him in the shins and screaming for him to let him go! Grace didn't sound afraid, did she? Trying to buy bubbles??? I think a harness is a good idea for a while. Hang in there!
